Darrell MurrayChief Financial Officer
Darrell began his career in 1984 as an accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Dallas, TX. In 1987, he transferred to Andersen’s Charlotte office, where he worked as a senior accountant until 1988 before joining Trammell Crow Company as the controller for the Carolina’s division. Darrell remained with Trammell Crow for 16 years and was admitted as a partner with the company in 1999. In 2004, Darrell joined Keystone Partners in Charlotte as their CFO, continuing in that role until the sale of the company to JLL in 2011. Darrell joined Ranger Construction Company as its CFO in 2014.
Darrell received a BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University. He is a licensed CPA in North Carolina and also holds a North Carolina Real Estate License. Darrell is actively involved in South Park Youth Association, serving as a coach for 6 years, field maintenance supervisor for 8 years, baseball commissioner for 4 years, and treasurer/member of the board of directors for the past 9 years. In addition, he served as a District Director for Dixie Youth Baseball from 2014 – 2016. Darrell is a member of the Danny Jones Club, which is the highest honor that NC Dixie Youth Baseball can bestow on its volunteers. He enjoys rooting for Texas Tech and spending time at the pool with his wife and 2 dogs.
